Our Beginner Gardener program is where it all begins. From infant to toddler our beginner gardeners will explore the beginning stages of development that will establish strong rooted connections to the world around them that will foster growth for life-long learning. Each Gardener will gain knowledge through hands-on experience throughout the program within various stages of development. Gardeners will achieve benchmarks that are developmentally appropriate to them as they begin to make formidable connections to their environment. Our Garden Gnomes will provide each Gardner with the tools needed to build confidence and self-esteem. Our low student to staff ratio means more quality time with their teacher and overall greater success in early childhood education. Our beginner gardeners will learn to explore, discover and make observations using the great outdoors, their 5 senses and their own body to gather intel. Each child will develop the ability to form relationships and learn to trust their surroundings all in a cozy, nurturing, home away from home.

Gardening for two’s is designed to encourage children’s learning in a safe, creative, teacher guided child-directed environment through use of imaginative play. Allowing children the freedom to explore their surroundings organically, will provide them with the opportunity to express their feelings in a way that will foster healthy connections to the world around them. Experimenting with decision making, practicing their social skills and learning to problem solve, will build self confidence that will invoke curiosity and encourage continued learning through educational adventure that’s inspired by creative play. Two year olds are curious active learners. With encouragement and guidance from our incredible Garden Gnomes, they will build lifelong memorable experiences as they explore and learn through meaningful play. Our Gardening for two’s curriculum is designed to foster growth that’s developmentally appropriate for children at differentiated stages of readiness. With an emphasis on Interest areas like the use of Blocks, Dramatic Play, Art, Library, Discovery, Music and so much more, we are excited to offer all these fun educational opportunities that currently awaits your child. Our teacher guided child directed classroom is only limited to a child’s imagination!

Our Ripe old 3’s program offers a garden variety of activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities, kids reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease. Children will continue to expand their knowledge of the world around them as well as enhance their fine and gross motor coordination through a variety of engaging interest areas found throughout their learning environment. Our child friendly indoor/outdoor classrooms are designed to encourage all aspect of the educational spectrum that will engage and inspire the inquisitive minds of three year olds. Our curriculum is designed to provide your child with a strong base-roots for learning that will prepare them for real life situations and healthy approaches to problem solving rationale.

The adventure continues. Our Universal Pre-kindergarden program brings learning through play to a whole new level as we’ve included the Creative Curriculum for Preschool. With an emphasis on the whole child, children will learn to explore, think, create, problem solve, form relationships, wonder, ask questions, and make discoveries all in an interactive play-based way that fosters growth that will ignite a spark for learning for years to come. Children will be exposed to a print rich environment which is our gateway to possibility. From inside our classroom to exploring the great outdoors and everything in between, children will develop a well-rounded appreciation for learning through creative teaching. From identifying the letters to learning their sounds to understanding math is more than just numbers and that it’s everywhere, to nature and all it’s wisdom, our UPK playmates will be equipped with the tools necessary to build a strong educational foundation which will serve them in kindergarten and beyond.

We know that juggling working from home and teaching your little ones is beyond challenging. In the event in person instruction is not a viable option, we here at The Magic Garden Child Care are prepared to foster the growth of each of your children in a fun, exciting, engaging way from the comforts of your home. Children and parents will be able to continue learning via our online curriculum. An exclusive Facebook page & or google meets for our UPKers will serve to meet all the criteria required to help navigate and promote learning from home. Each morning you will find the curriculum for the day added to the page with a link to all the resources you will need to further your pre-kindergardeners learning experience. Links to read aloud books, interactive alphabet, songs, additional resources pertaining to the current weeks curriculum along with a complete breakdown of the course work will also be provided. In addition, your child will be provided with hands on activities for them to complete at home and returned to me at the end of each week. Your children will be provided with all the supplies needed to compete each assignment. Curriculum kits will be available for pick up at the school each week at a time designated by our Garden Gnomes.

The Magic Garden before/aftercare program is designed with the school age child in mind. Whether you need AM/PM or both we’ve got you covered. Equipped with quiet homework areas to allow for students to complete their studies uninterrupted, to age appropriate indoor/outdoor play spaces that will provide hours of entertainment for children of all skill levels are just some of the fun programs we have to offer your child. Want STEM activities? We’ve got them. The Magic Garden offers extra curricular programs offered during different times of the year that will run 2 times a week for 4 weeks. Workshops like photography, cooking with kids, gardening, arts and crafts, yoga & STEM, are just some of the exciting new additions to our program. The Magic Garden Child Care, is prepared to help you assist your school aged child with their academic studies. Children will arrive to school fully prepared for social distance learning in our hybrid classroom. Our Garden Gnomes will assist children with tools necessary to help facilitate the virtual learning experiences to complement the in person instruction set forth by their respective institutions. Internet connectivity will be available for all remote students to help make the transition seamless. Assistance will be provided to help students navigate their studies in accordance of their daily schedule. Classroom materials will be accessible to all children to ensure there is continuous flow of learning with limited interruptions. The use of our outdoor space will enhance the learning experience and allow for kids to interact safely and enjoy being kids again.

Each day in addition to the written curriculum, there will be a video that further explains the lesson along with videos involving classroom activities and experiments. All of our videos can be watched at your convenience or join us live. If you have questions, interact with us on the page. My staff and I, are always there to help. Posting pictures of your children learning will assist me in assessing your child’s progress. Our personalized Facebook UPK page is exclusive to approved members only, your families privacy is of the utmost importance so rest assured confidentiality is foremost. Fostering relationships with classmates by uploading photos from home is a great way for them to interact with each other even if they can’t be together . While distance learning may not be the ideal situation, it’s what your children gain from it that will prepare them for whatever elements life has in store.
